Urban planning and development
In their application to urban planning and organisation of territories, the ambitions for sustainable development aim to improve quality of life, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and boost the local economy, while conserving natural resources and landscapes. Many stakeholders are actively involved on a national scale (ministries, federations, agencies and associations), as well as within public authorities (contracting authorities, elected officials, public and private developers, design offices, etc.).
